While My Computer Gently Weeps
This is Python script I wrote converts MIDI files into visual images based on the frequency and velocity
I used a module called PyMIDI by Eric S Tiedemann that breaks the image down to many components and then my script take the frequency and velocity and turns them into points on X and Z each point is translated slightly on Y resulting in tower like structures.

 

The srcipt connects each of the points together with a curve. The curve is then converted into a paint effect.

Each of the Towers represents a different song
Yellow: Nirvana In Bloom
Blue: Weezer: Undone
Green: The Beatles: While My Guitar Gently Weeps
Red: Led Zeppelin: Over The Hills and Far Away
White: Queen: Under Pressure
